Sarah Watson
Sarah Watson ’23 is a Regional and Comparative Studies major in the SFS concentrating in the Middle East and Asia. She also has minors in Persian and Religion, Ethics, and World Affairs. At Georgetown, her studies have focused on Iranian relations within Central Asia as well as geopolitical tensions over water resources in South Asia. Studying Persian has helped her learn not just about Iranian politics, but culture, poetry, history, and literature. After graduating from Georgetown, Sarah will begin an MPhil in Oxford University’s Area Studies, where she will use her background learning Farsi for further language studies in Urdu and Hindi.
