Ariana Roberts
Ariana graduated from the Georgetown College with a major in Math and a minor in Persian. She was raised in an Iranian-American household but never learned the language growing up, but thanks to the support of her professors, especially Professor Mostowfi, she enjoyed learning the language and discovering more about Persian culture. Ariana was also able to study Persian at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, where she took a class in modern Persian literature and examined the works of Sohrab Sepehri, Forough Farrokhzad, and others. Further, she took a course in Iranian Cinema at Georgetown, where students studied films created by famous Iranian directors like Abbas Kiarostami and Asghar Farhadi.
