Janan Iranbomy
Janan studied at the Georgetown School of Foreign Service with a major in International History and a minor in Persian. The opportunity to work as research assistant in the Persian Studies Program allowed her to plan events such as the influence of Hafiz, a preeminent Persian poet, on the great German poet Goethe, as well as planning and moderating lecture series with distinguished tinkers and policymakers, which complement her academic concentration on the Persian Gulf region and undergraduate certificate thesis on the intersection of oil diplomacy and international law for which the university awarded her the Best Thesis Award. After graduating, Janan will further pursue her studies at Harvard University.
