Maddox Angerhofer ’23 majors in International Politics with a minor in Persian and certificate in Jewish Civilization. She came to Georgetown to study Iranian-Israeli relations and learn Persian. The Persian Program helped her do just that, connecting her with the FLAS summer fellowship where she researched relations under the Shah and supporting her senior thesis on Iranian state-sponsored news media. In her time at Georgetown and during a year-long leave of absence spent in Alaska, Maddox has been grateful for the support of her Persian Program classmates and professors. After graduation, Maddox will work as a business analyst for McKinsey & Company in Vancouver, Canada, but not before spending a few more months working with dogs in Alaska.
