Nima Majidi

Nima Majidi ’23 is a Business and Global Affairs major in the School of Foreign Service and McDonough School of Business with minors in Persian Studies and International Development. At Georgetown, his studies have focused on the humanitarian impacts of international business operations, as well as United States policy towards Iran and the broader Middle East. As an Iranian-American and native Persian speaker, he was able to compound his language studies with classes in Iranian history, literature, and politics, as well as an independent study. Nima began working for the Persian Studies Program in Fall ‘20 and has remained with us ever since, serving in various capacities as both a Teaching Assistant and Program Associate and assisting with the administration of the monthly webinar series. After graduating from Georgetown, Nima will be serving as an English Teaching Assistant in Uzbekistan through the Fulbright program.
